Last week our class visited the Te Tuhi Art Centre to participate in the Stories from the Pacific workshop. In this workshop we explored symbols that represent our identity and how Pacific tapa cloths are created. Then we made our own versions of tapa to display aspects of our own culture.
A big thank you to Jeremy from Te Tuhi who taught us everything we needed to know.
